We will be attending a school wide field trip to the BJCC to see the Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus on Thursday, January 28th!  This will be the final trip of the year, so we wanted to make it a good one! On this trip, we will get to experience the amazing acrobatic performers along with various types of animal acts. The total cost per student is $20.00 and will include the ticket price for the show along with bus transportation and gas for the trip to Birmingham. We will need all payments by Friday, January 22nd.   The busses will load at 8:30 a.m. and we will return before afternoon dismissal. All students will need to wear their blue Highland Elementary School t-shirt.

For this trip, no chaperones are requested to sign up. If you do have any questions, you may call the school office to get any needed information about the trip details.

A school lunch will be provided for each student that attends the trip.  Regular lunchroom charges will apply if your child plans to eat one of these lunches.  The school lunch will include: a peanut butter/Jelly sandwich (Those allergic will receive a ham/cheese), chips, apple, cookie, and milk. If your child brings a lunch from home, please place it in a brown paper sack or large ziplock bag with your child’s name on the front.
